My pastor is a great leader. He preaches and lives the Word. His sermons are anointed and inspired by God. Since coming to this area, he has helped our church growth. He is not afraid of hard work! The church now has a food pantry that helps feed over 200 families each month. He has also been obedient to God by opening a sister church in Odin, IL on Saturday evenings for dinner church. He is very caring and genuinely concerned about his congregation. He has been there for me through the death of a close friend and my youngest brother. I appreciate him and am glad that I can call him my pastor.
I could name so many reasons that I appreciate my pastor Josh Winn, but if I had to name just one it would be the amount of time he has taken out of his personal schedule to disciple me in the times I needed it the most. And, though we a now over 700 miles apart; he still takes the time to check in on me and encourage me. He’s been a friend, mentor, a teacher, a pastor, and coach to me and for that I am grateful! Pastor Appreciation ought to be celebrated year round; pour into thier lives as they pour into yours.
