Pastor Jay is so much more than just a Pastor. He serves the Lord every day. All week and every week. He is and always is available 24/7 anytime day or night. He’s helped me and countless others, and continues to do so, without any hesitation. He drops whatever he’s doing and makes you (anyone) priority #1. It’s not uncommon for him to (on the spur of a moment drive 3-4 hours both ways) to help people! Pastor Jay has helped me with an elderly lady whose yard was overflowing with wild shrubs and trees. He spent two days cutting/Trimming and hauling debris off for her. She was so thankful and gracious for his service to the Lord. I had gone to a couples house on a Sunday night to pray for them. I needed help and called PastorJay at 10:00 pm. He asked me for the address and came over for about an hour and a half. Pastor always says to me and others, it’s not about me. It’s about serving the Lord and his kingdom. And he will tell you that when he’s on our side of the pulpit, he is one of us. With the end goal of becoming present with the Lord. I am blessed to have Pastor Jay in my life.
Roy Bogan
I could write paragraphs about how great a pastor and how great a person Pastor Roy is. He’s not afraid to preach the uncompromising truth of the gospel regardless of what society says about something. He shows genuine love and compassion towards people and for the Church. He’s willing to help with anything, any way he can. Doing some siding work on my house him and his son surprised us showing up to help, for two days. He doesn’t pretend to be perfect or have it all figured out. He is an example of how we all should be. He’s a man that I am grateful to have as a pastor and happy to call a friend. I appreciate him for who he is, and for all he does both inside and outside of the church.
