I attended the Harvest of Hope Concert for a blessing and was fortunate enough to bring a dear friend with me. Little did I know the profound impact it would have on me, which began as I stood in line for the gates to open. In front of me and my friend was a charming little family: two girls, their first experience at Harvest of Hope, celebrating their daughter’s birthday. This little girl’s incessant requests for tickets were the reason for their visit. These two girls, no older than 5 and 8, left an indelible mark on my life. Matthew 19:14 – “Bring the little children unto Me and don’t hinder them,” their parents had done just that, and it was a blessing to stand by them, listening to their mother as she shared this with me.
Later, witnessing the baptism of little children was another breathtaking sight. I am deeply grateful to all for the impact you make on both the elderly and the young.
