WBGL is a listener supported radio ministry, and we exist because of your generous financial support. Our Fall Fundraiser starts Tuesday, October 22nd, and we want to prepare for this time by praying and seeking God’s help.
You are invited to join us during these 10 Days of Prayer at WBGL. Thank you for taking the time to pray with us before our Fall Fundraiser begins.
Day 1 – YES
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 1:20
All His Promises are Yes and Amen! Remember that as you go about your day. Pray for faith to rise knowing His promises are Yes and Amen!
Day 2 – NOTHING
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”
Jeremiah 32:17
Thank you Lord that you made the heavens and YOU care for me! Thank you Lord that NOTHING IS SO HARD FOR YOU! Amen! Today you are invited to go to the Lord with your requests and concerns knowing NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR HIM!
Day 3 – GRACE & MERCY
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need..”
Hebrews 4:16
Are you in need of God’s grace and mercy? It says in Hebrews 4:16 to approach, to come to God’s throne BOLDLY! That is where you will find the grace and mercy tjat you need, WHEN you need it the most. According to Webster’s Dictionary to come boldy means “as in courageously, in a fearless manner” That is how we approach the throne of grace when needing grace and mercy, courageously and fearlessly!
Day 4 – CONQUERORS
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37
YOU are more than a conqueror NO matter how things look around you. You are not defeated. YOU are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! Would you pray today for those listening, that are facing battles and that feel defeated? May the Lord remind you and those facing overwhelming odds that you are more than a conqueror in Jesus’ Name!
Day 5 – FORGIVE
“ Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
Today, ask the Lord who it is that you need to forgive and maybe show kindness and compassion to? Pray as the Lord leads you. As you think about the kindness of our Lord today, pray for those who have said yes to having a WBGL Kindness club in their schools. May the Lord use these clubs to change lives through kindness.
Day 6 – WONDERS
“You are the God who performs miracles;
Psalm 77:14
you display your power among the peoples.”
Take time to meditate on all the wonders of the LORD! Thank you Lord that Your wonders are on display in the earth! Thank you Lord for YOUR AWESOME POWER! Today, would you take a moment and pray for prayer requests on the WBGL prayer center on our website at this link?
Day 7 – PEACE
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16
May you experience the Peace of the Lord today! As you pray today, pray for peace to any and all anxiety in you in the name of Jesus. Pray for those listening that are dealing with much anxiety that the Lord would BE THEIR PEACE. The Lord be with you all!
Day 8 – NOT SLOW
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord isn’t slow about his promise, may that truth settle in your soul today as you put your trust in the God who LOVES YOU! Remember HE is patient for OUR SAKE!
Day 9 – RESCUED
“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
Colossians 1:13-14
Take the time to focus on the word rescued. God has rescued you! HE LOVES YOU THAT MUCH! Today, pray for those that need to hear the Good News that Jesus died for them so that they may be rescued from the kingdom of darkness.
Day 10 – LISTEN
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27
You can know the voice of God, You can hear His voice. HE is the good shepherd, a shepherd who watches over his flock. His sheep know his voice. We are His sheep! You and I have a good shepherd and as we grow closer to Him, we KNOW HIS voice even more. Lord, help us to hear Your voice, help us to KNOW Your voice so we can go where YOU are leading.
