Commitment to Christ – Volunteers have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Commitment to a Local Church – Volunteers are a part of a body of believers. Involvement in the WBGL Volunteer Ministry may provide spiritual growth and fellowship, but in no way should it be seen as a substitute for commitment to a local church.
Commitment to WBGL – Volunteers believe in and agree with the ministry of WBGL.
Commitment to Teamwork – Volunteers strive to be a team player in the ministry of WBGL.
Commitment to Confidentiality – Volunteers never disclose or discuss with any outside party the sensitive information that may be viewed or heard during activities at WBGL.
Commitment to Dependability – Because volunteers are partners with the staff and are so important to the ministry of WBGL, volunteers will be dependable and on time for projects and events.
Commitment to a Wholesome Christian Attitude and Lifestyle – Volunteers will have a wholesome attitude and lifestyle and their behavior at all times (not just while volunteering) will be honoring to God. Volunteers are expected to live by a scriptural standard of behavior which is consistent with the principles of conduct in the Bible.
Volunteers agree at all times to refrain from:

Excessive use of alcoholic beverages or misuse of medicines
Swearing or using language unbecoming to a Christian
Involvement in immoral activities (i.e. premarital sex, homosexuality, pornography, etc.)
Acts of dishonesty, such as lying, stealing, and cheating
Physical, verbal or sexual harassment of staff, volunteers or others
