Learning from Nature: Permaculture Design Course (Sun. May 19, 2013 9:00 am)
May 19-June 2, 2013 Where: White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind. quire for cost. In Pre-registration is required and the course instructors are Peter Bane, Keith Johnson, Rhonda Baird, and David Haberman Learning From Nature is a joint course with Indiana University Bloomington. This unique class is designed to immerse students in the study of permaculture in a beautiful setting. Enrollment for non-IU students is limited, so early application is strongly suggested. Day to Honor Veterans (Sun. May 19, 2013 9:00 am - 10:30 am)
Living Water Community Church (190 Lily Cache Lane, Bolingbrook) will be honoring servicemen and servicewomen on Sunday, May 19th. There will be two recognition services, one at 9:00am and one at 11:30am. As part of our appreciation for our military personnel, we will have a Coining Ceremony. If you are a current or former service member, please join us for this special recognition and allow us to thank you for your service.

27th Annual Rare Breed Show (Sun. May 19, 2013 11:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Join the Garfield Farm Museum for their 27th Annual Rare Breed show. This show features rare breed of farm animals. This event will be held Sunday, May 19th from 11am-4pm at the Garfield Farm Museum, in LaFox IL.
GloryWay Quartet in concert (Sun. May 19, 2013 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 West Eames Street, Channahon, IL, will be hosting the GloryWay Quartet who will be performing a free concert on Sunday, May 19th at 6pm.
