Community Used Bike Sale Fundraiser (Fri. Apr 25, 2014 10:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Habitat for Humanity is holding their 5th Annual Community Used Bike Sale Wednesday April 23rd-30th at Champaign Cycle, 506 S Country Fair Drive Champaign IL. We are accepting donations of good used bikes until the time of the sale all you need to do is email us. All bikes sold will be in good operating condition. Mystery Dinner Fundraiser (Fri. Apr 25, 2014 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm)

23rd Annual Traditional Spring Pow-wow (Sat. Apr 26, 2014 10:00 am - 8:00 pm)
Join the American Indian Council for their Annual Spring Pow-wow. This is a show case of the rich culture of the Native American Indians that currently still live in Indiana. Pow-wow will run Saturday, April 26th, from 10 am – 9:30 pm and Sunday, April 27th 10:30 am- 4:30 pm at the Boone County 4-H Fair Ground, 1300 S 100 E in Lebanon, IN. Caring Paws Pet Fair (Sat. Apr 26, 2014 10:00 am - 2:00 pm)
On Saturday April 26, Caring Hands Thrift Shop, in coordination with Kendall County Animal Control, will be hosting a Pet Fair and Animal Adoption Day in the shop parking lot, 1002 S Bridge St in Yorkville IL, from 10am – 2pm. There will also be a “Stuffed Animal” adoption booth, complete with adoption certificates for those families that cannot have live pets. For more information please call.
Vendor Fair/Silent Auction Fundraiser (Sat. Apr 26, 2014 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

There will be a vendor fair/silent auction at Cornerstone Bible Church, 65 Home Ave in Terre Haute IN, on April 26th from 12-5. Vendors, raffles, and refreshments will be available. Proceeds go to family of Summer Dean who has stage 4 kidney cancer. For details please call or email.
Shoe Drive (Sat. Apr 26, 2014 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm)
The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana and Body N Sole are organizing a shoe drive during the Illinois Marathon to benefit local charitable partners. The Junior League will be collecting new or gently used shoes, infant through adult sizes, at the Body N Sole Booth during the Health and Fitness Expo on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 during registration hours. The final collection will take place on Saturday, April 26 at the “27th Mile” and the post-race concert at Krannert in Urbana IL. Donated shoes will be distributed by the United Way of Champaign County to the organizations in need throughout the Champaign-Urbana community. For more information, please go online.

Students and parents are invited to attend the "How to Choose the Best College for Your Student and Your Pocketbook" Seminar on Sunday, April 27th 1:30-3pm Rochelle Country Club, 555 S. 7th IL 251 South in Rochelle IL. The Kelly Miller Circus will be at the Mahomet Seymour High School Grounds on Sunday, April 27th with performances at 2 and 5pm. The Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring this event. The day begins at 7:30am and everyone is welcome to come see the tent raising. Pre-sale Event tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children 2-11 and can be obtained at Busey Bank, 1st Mid Illinois Band & Trust, Fisher National Bank, First Financial, Mahomet IGA, Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce. Free Clothing Distribution (Tue. Apr 29, 2014 9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Each Tuesday at WIC, 201 West Kenyon Rd. in Champaign, IL, Champaign His Kid's Closet distributes free kids clothing for sizes infant-6. We'll be there distributing from 9-12 and 1-3. For more information, please call or go online.
