Roger Songer will be speaking at a Missions Rally Friday & Saturday, September 30th & October 1st from 6:30-7pm and Sunday, October 2nd at 9 & 10:15am at the First Christian Church, 901 N. Henrietta St in Effingham.  A fundraiser luncheon will be served directly after worship service on Sunday. The Karen Alumbaugh Memorial FCA Golf Scramble will take place on Saturday, October 1st at 9am at Elks Country Club, 600 W. Wolfe in Sullivan IN. This is a fundraising event for the Wabash Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The cost of the golf scramble is $50. Please call or email for more details.

Harvest Blessings 5k Run/Walk (Sat. Oct 1, 2016 9:00 am - 12:00 pm)

The Harvest Blessings 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, October 1st at 9am at Elks Building, 2102 S. Banker St in Effingham. All proceeds go to support the Blessings in a Backpack Ministry of Effingham. Check-in begins at 8am. Tthe cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children 6-12 years. Children 5 years and younger are free. Registration and details are online. There will also be registration the day of the event.
