Human Trafficking Round Table and Lecture (Tue. Sep 2, 2014 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
First Presbyterian Church, 302 W. Church St in Champaign, presents Modern Day Solutions to Modern Day Slavery: Identifying and Responding to Victims of Human Trafficking, facilitated by Darci Jenkins. This event takes place on Tuesday, September 2nd beginning at 3pm. From 3-5pm a roundtable talk and forum will provide information and resources to local community organizations and concerned citizens. Friends, family & co-workers are invited Tuesday September 2nd at 3:30pm to the ISU Hulman Center in Terre Haute as we will break a Guinness World Records title for the longest high-five chain. Kids age 5 and up are invited to audition for Champaign Urbana Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 6 at the Champaign Ballet Academy, 2810 W. Clark Road in Champaign. Previous dance training is not required to audition but children must have been born before September 6, 2009.
