Buy meat in bulk such as hamburger and brown and freeze in 1 lb portions that way when you want tacos or need browned hamburger it's there. Saves a lot of time. You can buy a rotisserie chicken, shred it or cut it cubes for chicken salad, soup or whatever recipe calls for cooked chicken. The extra flavor really adds a lot to recipes. When fruit is on sale I cut up berries and put them in containers for smoothies.
