When stuffy noses & cold/ flu symptoms enter your home plug in your tart warmer or oil burner and put 2 teaspoons of Vicks Vapor Rub & 1 teaspoon water in burner . Burn as you would normally ! Place in most occupied room ! Clear noses easier breathing , less congestion , plus smells good ! Also good in kids room at night with the plugin Warmers from Walmart !

I took a piece of scrap wood laminate flooring from another project and used velcro to attach my multiple remote controls to it making my own "universal remote control". Having children this is wonderful to not have to search other rooms, floors, or couches when all the remotes are present except for the one I need!

I love to bake, and have for years. When I bake cookies, I cut a large brown paper sack that I brought home groceries in, and lay it out on the counter. After the cookies come out of the oven, I let them cool on the brown paper sack. It will soak up some of the grease from the cookies, and I am recycling as well.

Using less paper products has simplified our lives! We cloth diaper, and use tea towels instead of paper towels and baby rags to wipe noses instead of tissues or (more) toilet paper. This way you never run out and have to run to the store last minute to get more. And bonus: it's better for the environment!

1/2 c detergent
1/4 c Dishwasher Soap
The key is dishwasher soap, I don't know what is in it but it gets it out for sure. Now, that is a lot of liquid, cut it down as the load size changes. This is for a large to Xlarge load. Let it soak for 15 to 30 minutes and wash like normal.

I keep 3 containers in my closet, one for each of my children. As I see things I think would make a good gift for them throughout the year or find things on sale, I purchase it and stash it away in their container. When a birthday or Christmas comes along, I have a huge amount of my shopping already done. Plus I have spent a lot less money getting things when they were on sale.
