Well, to be honest I do not like making lunches. Growing up, I was in charge of making my dad's lunch for work. So now I am faced with making my kids lunches and my own every day. To help that go quicker I have found if you take a day (I choose either Saturday or Sunday) and prep all the foods for the week. I cut and wash all the fruits and vegetables and store them in containers in the refrigerator. I also "prebag" all the chips, cookies, crackers, etc. for the week. I found out it not only saves me time but money because I now know how much to buy every week. I have also found we eat healthier, and the older kids can pack their own lunches because everything is ready for them!
