If you have hard water and find it hard to get rid of the rings in your toilet, use Vinegar. Pour it in the toilet and go read a book or take a walk. When you return, simply brush the toilet and flush, You will have a shiny, clean toilet and you will be refreshed as well!

Instead of buying the expensive glass top cleaner for my stove I use a baking soda and water paste. It's cleans up great and I can afford it!

Use Norwex anti-bac cloth and the shine cloth to wash windows. No cleaner needed just plain water. Awesome product.

Quik-spritz:
Combine 2 tablespoons dish soap & 2 teaspoons Simple Green, then dilute with1 qaurt of water. Place in spray bottle and keep by kitchen sink. Use a spritz to quick wash hands, quick wash dinnerware, utensils or silverware. Also, spritz and leave the dishes sit for easy clean-up. This solution can also be used for laundry spot cleaning or to clean up spills and spots on counter tops, cabinets and floors. Multipurpose, NO harsh chemicals!

To keep up with laundry I put a load in to wash in the morning before work and dry it as soon as I get home from work. When my son was in Jr High he wanted his jeans ironed. I taught him how to iron. I figured if he wanted his jeans ironed he could do it himself. My daughter-in-law is very appreciative of the fact that he can iron!

I always had 2 sets of sheets and every Saturday I would wash the dirty ones and put the clean ones on the beds. With just 2 kids, this meant 3 beds and six sets of sheets to wrestle with every Saturday. The worst part was trying to fold those sheets after they came out of the laundry. My tip? Strip the bed, wash the sheets and put THOSE sheets BACK on the bed. No more folding! Voila! Trying to fold double sheets is like being a one-armed paper hanger! And btw, fennel seeds are GREAT on pizza.

Having a large family (5 children) generates plenty of laundry so my tips are for laundry management! As laundry comes out of the dryer it is sorted into individual baskets for each family member so the kids can retrieve their clothes from the laundry room and put them away on their own. Also, the boys have individual mesh bags for socks. The dirty ones go in and the whole bag gets washed. The bag is returned in the clean basket! No more time on sorting/matching socks!

Hate water spots and fingerprints on sink fixtures? Simply rub them down with a piece of wax paper! Also, add a few drops of olive oil to a clean cloth and use to wipe down stainless steel for a long lasting glossy finish!

When we first moved in to our country home, there was wallpaper EVERYWHERE! Not that I'm knocking wallpaper, but this stuff you could tell was old and peeling not in a good way. We worked for hours and hours peeling off the stuff with sticky, gunky wallpaper spray that wasn't working for us, until this AMAZING trick! It totally cut our time in half. Mix 1 cap full of fabric softener with 24 oz of water in a spray bottle and let er rip! The wallpaper comes of like butter with a putty knife, and it is a great two-fer because it makes the room smell wonderful and fresh! We had our mini nursery of rabbits and chicks before we did this and now its our guest room and you could never tell that we raised animals in there :)

We are a family of six so laundry can be a challenge. I am also working full time for the first time in years. I try to do at least two loads of laundry a day. That way I am never overwhelmed and it really doesn't take that long to fold two loads.
